met at Rebecca early and ran 1.5 before she came out then we did a loop to the OHS track, I thought we were going to do 400's but Rebecca said she wanted to do the 1200 workout. So we did 4x1200 at 5k pace (6:16). We reversed direction every time so we got about a 500 meter rest in between. times were 4:40, 4:43, 4:45, 4:45 was a little over excited on the first one but settled in. yoga |

| easy 5 in a blizzard with Rebecca 8:28 avg racing a 5k tomorrow and somehow this makes me more nervous than the marathon. maybe because i'm not the best at running in VO2 max but i'll try my hardest and would love somewhere in the ball park of a 19:40 |

So mixed feelings, feel like i did well but not an all out effort. The race ended up being short and an out and back on the provo river trail with a it going up to start and down to finish, which is what i wanted, but it is also part of the trail that has alot of under passes so short but steep up and downs. I just wish i could get myself to race a 5k all out, but I do plan of working on that this summer. We will make a 5ker out of me yet! Anyway warmed up on the course with rebecca 3 miles so we both knew it was going to be short. The race was small and unorganized so started about 15 min late, but that really isn't to bad. splits 1-6:39 2-6:49 this miles was tough you had the 4 underpasses and a hairpin turn in it plus when i went under the bridges i had to yell at people coming the other way to get out of the way. 3-6:39 no time for a cool down had to get home but long run on monday, last one:)
