I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible. | Got up and ran by myself, felt pretty good for racing and long run on saturday. Avg pace 7:58 HiiT monday work out Spin class did feel like burnt toast |

| met Rebecca early at the TV tennis courts with the plan to run towards the canyon and tempo along the way. going up we avg about 7:35-40 then we really started the tempo i would call it HMP going down. 5.2/6:42 avg 6:34, 6:41, 6:39, 6:45, 6:51, 6:34 for the last .2 felt decent but did get tired towards the end and kind of got tripped up in the last mile going past the riverwoods and all the little bridges in the dark so that slowed my last mile down. Better than last time I did this though, then about a mile back to the cars. I am planning on cutting my HiiT training down to 3 days a week so I can handle the higher milage and feel less tired on these tempo runs. HiiT did Thursdays workout today 4 sets |

| Easy run, was going to sleep in but was awake so I got up and ran then did the bike for 30 mins. Planned easy day, although I would love to go out for a second run in the beautiful weather. |

| Ran from my house with Rebecca super hilly route went up to the Provo Temple and through upper rock canyon neighborhoods down quail valley drive and up 8th back home. 7:45 avg pace HiiT new workout 50/15 4x Spider to burpee side crunch to side plank push away balance butt lift on ball push up x3 positions with a pike 3-way biceps with 12lbs |

Started with Rebecca and ran up to timp park and turned and did a MP tempo down to the finish of UVM. Right off Rebecca was not feeling well and ended up just going home so I was on my own for the long haul. started easy and worked into a good grove this ended up being 7- 7:09, 6:44, 6:43, 6:49, 7:04 (climb by the country club), 6:53, 6:57. Felt pretty good, then I ran it all backwards which was hard cause it's all uphill but still managed to do a 7:45 pace then picked it up for the last 3 miles 7:15, 7:20, 7:20. 2:30/7:32 HiiT 45/20 4x walking lunge with 12lb in each hand walking side lunge with 12lb in each punch to upper cut with 10 lb cross over on knees 3-way biceps butt lift on floor
