My son fell out of bed last night and didn't notice until this morning that he had split his chin wide open. So we went to the doctors and got stiches, his first time. He was super good while they did it, he didn't cry or move a muscle.
I am surprisingly calm, but excited for the marathon. I know I have prepared well and also know that races just depend on the day. I know that it will be tough and am prepared to hurt and push through it. Can't wait to see how everyone does. Plan on just running around 20 miles before the marathon and getting good sleep.
The good thing with getting sick and having to take a day off is that I don't feel the foot/ankle any more and have been able to run without it taped:) |
