Decided to time my 5k today. I havent done that since XC. Got 18:15 felt pretty good, exept for a stomach cramp near the end.

8 miles tempo. Felt a little sore but got about 54 minutes.

Went on a 7.3 mile tempo run. It was over all mostly flat exept for 2 pretty big hills. It took about 50 minutes felt pretty great. After I went on an easy 3 mile run.

First I did a 1 mile warmup. Then I did 8 sets of circuts they were 200m each. Then I finished off with a 2 mile cooldown. And I'm going to run another 4 miles later.

My iliotibial band was hurting a little, so I stayed safe with only an easy 5 mile run.

I'm not impressed...no threshhold miles. You cannot improve without a weekly tempo run as a staple of your training regimen.
