| PM- Wanted to rest the ankle, so just a little easy spinning. Ankle doesn't hurt at all when I walk, so it's hard to tell how it's doing. I'll try a run tomorrow to see how it feels. |

| Lunch- 9 with the guys. Warm day. Ankle was improved but not great. Well enough to run the race this weekend, at least. Should I be worried that I now discount 50k's as not that far? |

| PM- got out for a late afternoon run. Rained on me, starting and stopping same time as me. 8 miles. I gave an hour long presentation to a Boy Scout troop today on lessons for life from ultra marathons. First time I've done anything like that. It was fun, and a good excuse to look at way too many pretty mountain pictures. |

| PM- Ran 35 min to Sams Club, then 2 laps on the track with 5 or so strides. Ankle was bugging a bit but it should be well enough for tomorrow. The low tonight is 43 degrees- much colder than normal this time of year. I might even have to wear gloves at the race! |
