I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

AM- 6.  Last run on my NB760, my favorite line of shoes ever.  Now they've rolled over to 860's.  I think I owned 10 pairs of the 76X line.

Lunch- 15 min abs (Ken made it harder than usual today somehow), then 10 miles on a sticky day.

Bought my plane ticket to Portland today for the Waldo 100k in August.  Guess that means I'm committed now.  I don't understand why people say ultrarunners are crazy, though- I mean, doesn't everyone fly all the way across the country to run down some little trail somewhere?

Makes sense to me - I'll fly around the country to spin around on a 400m oval when there are 5 of them within a 5 mile radius of where I live.

Jake- I definitely get more of my money's worth than you- I fly to run 10 hours, you do under 15 minutes sometimes!

I like the way I do it - short race and then vacation :-)
