Food sickness day number 2.  Effects are slowly wearing off and I have been able to eat and drink a bit, unlike yesterday at this time.  No running, though.

there's not much worse feeling than food poisoning. I had it a week and a half ago, and luckily it only lasted 12 hours and I got whatever it was out. I feel your pain.

Bummer Jon ... hope that clears your system soon! Here is a race you may want to put on your radar, if not this year, in the future. I have not run it, as I just heard about it last year after reg was full ... but I read some cool race reports on it & it is supposed to be beautiful. Anyway, not too far from you ... although it is only a 1/2. It is put on by Christian Runners ... in conjunction with a weekend retreat which sounds pretty cool.

Here is another on in the fall ...

I'll put a positive spin on this...

Food poisoning can be a great way to drop a couple pesky pounds. As long as you get over in time to recover ahead of a race.

Just sayin.

Thanks, guys. I started eating again at lunch and feel much better. We'll see how my runs go tomorrow.

Thanks for the links, Jonathan. I spent a while reading about those races.

Get better soon Jon! That's no fun at all.
