I was planning to do 95 miles this week with recovery week next week, but decided to switch them since I will have more free time to run next week.  Man, it was nice to sleep in till 5:45 this morning and not run!

PM- 10 miles.  Supposed to include an 8 mile tempo.  However, for some reason I got really lightheaded and dizzy during the tempo so quit it after 5 miles and jogged it in.  Not sure why that happened, but oh well.  5 miles at 7:30 pace, 5 miles at 6:10 pace.

What?! 5:45 is considered sleeping in these days? Now I'm really impressed by your dedication if that is sleeping in. I can't even remember the last time I woke up before 6:30, let alone 5:45.

Yes, Aaron, 5:45 is sleeping in for me and it is wonderful. Not sleeping in means 4:10 to 4:30 alarm. I can sleep in past 7 am maybe 2 times per month. But there's lots of guys like that on the blog, including AdamRW and jtshad.

Way to observe your body and knowing when to back down. :)

That's impressive, I admire the discipline.

I might get a lot more work done in the day if I got up that early (more realistically though I'd probably just take a huge nap because I work from home, and the presence of a bed in my dark, cool basement office would just be too tempting).

Hey Jon, thanks for the welcome. What are you training for? Is there a way to comment page to page like FB with this blog?

From Jon on Mon, Dec 21, 2009 at 20:18:03 from 198.60.103.104

I don't think so, Steve. You just have to comment on a recent run, like this.
