I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.
Short-Term Running Goals:

Morning run (started just before 6) and it was beautiful out. Started at a jog and worked the pace down a tad bit. Overall pace of 8:02/mile - it's hard to crack 8:00/mile pace before 8:00 a.m!
Morning run from the cabin. I forgot how steep Smith Creek is and so I just put it in "granny gear" up the road and kept my legs moving. Made it most of the way to the top, then ran easy back down.
