5k < 17 Personal: 400m/800m competitively in track in high school. Took 15 years off. Started running again in 2010. Married to my beautiful wife, Tiffany, with 2 little boys, now 4 and 6. I'm a civil engineer working for the Indiana DOT in Seymour, IN. I live in a slightly larger town about 20 miles north - Columbus, IN. Originally from Lexington, KY.

| Long Run - start at 9 am. humidity still high and temps climbed to 80 by the end of the run. Started off well - kept it in the 8-8:45 range through about 23 miles. Ran out of water about that point and went without for about 20 minutes. Never caught back up on hydration after refilling handheld. Nasty downward spiral. Walked the last 2 miles. 33.84 miles total - 5:23:48.

| gym rat - 45 minutes - 25min. on elliptical, and then core and lunges for about 20 min.
