About a minute slower than last year's time in this race. I was okay for the first mile in 6:05, or so. For some reason I decided to start doing cross training for legs and core this week - mostly lunges, 1-leg squats, etc. Only 2 days this week, with one 10 minutes worth yesterday... I guess this was the culprit of the horrible lactic-type buildup that I felt in my quads in this race. I could barely hold on to what was MP (and slower) a month ago. 8k - 32:10 :( Whatever
