Was iffy all day today on if I would take another day off.  Thinking that walking really helped with the soreness.  Over 48 hours without running was just what the docotr ordered apperently.  Started running an easy run around the neighborhood, expecting immediate soreness from the first step but was delighted to discover that my legs have returned a little since Saturday morning.  Still took it very slow/easy, mostly in the grass - 5 mi. - 44:30.

Indy Monumental is in my sights, now.  Goal - 2:53:xx.  Outlook - good :)

Glad you recovered well and are ready to roll at Indy!! Are you planning any more workouts in the last couple weeks?

Thanks, Andrea. I really appreciate hearing from you and Jake - its like talking to the pros! I plan on a short interval workout Wednesday (maybe 6x800 @ HMP), and running a 5k race this Sunday if I am still not feeling any of the ache/tweek in my left knee, or the tightness in hammies/calves. I also will have an extremely abbreviated version mid next week of the interval workout and an easy run with strides a day or 2 before the Indy Mar. I saw where you and Jake are working on project recovery/flexibility. I will be stealing your ideas this winter! :)
