Went out an ran hills with the BBK group.  I felt really good through the warm up and then part way through the hill loop I died.  I felt horrible, my heart was racing and I stop for a second and then proceeded on at a slower pace.    I need to learn to pace myself better for these.  I had to dart out early to get kids off to school and then I have to go into the office today, so extra get ready time was needed.  No working today in comfy clothes.

My knee is bothering me a  little after our run.  It was fine during but now is not so great.   I did not have time for an ice bath, which is bad, so massage and scraping are on the to do list tonight.

You did great Jody. Totally fooled me if you weren't feeling well. I thought you looked fabulous. See ya Thursday.

You looked like you were loving the hills! Don't we all, really? Hope your knee is feeling better

Great run Jody! just stretch and ice and your knee will come around. When you say scraping, it sounds so barbaric. But it works so keep it up! Your an animal! Good to see you this morning.

From Jody on Tue, Sep 02, 2008 at 13:23:51

Yeah, Jody, you looked good today, I wouldn't have guessed you were hurting. I'm glad you've been coming to our group. Good luck with the scraping and massage. Hopefully it's nothing too serious. Taper time is almost here!

Why do I do that, I wrote your name again instead of mine, so everyone, that was my comment up there, not Jody's.

From Kelli on Tue, Sep 02, 2008 at 14:03:51

You did great! Thanks for slowing down and running with me! I have learned one thing---I am slower, so I might as well just start in the back and run my pace. Then, if I have it at the end, I go as fast as I can there! We are opposites! I wish I could just find a comfortably hard pace and stick with it the entire time, but I can't!

GREAT WORK, really! It was a tough run and we all came off not only a long run weekend but a holiday yesterday! So today just felt like a Monday!

Jody, thanks for your comments, by the way, when is your last long run? The heart racing thing, it use to happen to me during races, not a good breathing pattern, got to excited. I have a story about the racing heart I will tell sometime as a running short, it will show how crazy a runner I be.

Stay Kool, Pace is the Place TOU, B of BS Rools out
