Paula and I met up with the BBK group today.  We ran 3 warm up miles and then separated into track workout or road workout.  My legs are still not 100% so I opted for the road workout.  We did 5 miles and I felt like the effort was close to marathon pace (8:20) than what it was.  We ended up back at the track and watched everyone finish up - they were movin' today!   When I got home and my kids ready, I walked them up to the school and then ran .75 home pushing my 4 yr old in a non-running stroller.  That was probably the toughest part of the day.

So funny! I pushed my five-year-old for a mile with my son when I got home, and that 11-minute mile was definitely the toughest! I can't believe I used to run all the time pushing a child in a baby jogger (of course, they were usually babies and weighed a lot less, but still!).

It did feel like we were movin' faster. That is why I love no GARMIN runs. I can be oblivious!

We are doing another long run (probably 20, but I'm really going to shoot for 21) this Saturday. If you are around, you should come run with us! Same place, 5 a.m.

A 4 yr old in a nonrunning stroller? I remember those days, makes me hurt to think about it. Kudos to you, Super Runner Mom!
