Made it to India!  No running today, just unpacking, catching up on some sleep and then at work for 10 hrs.  Running tomorrow.  We went to the mall to get dinner and got a new running outfit from the Addidas store.  It is quite a bit cheaper here.

Happy Running!

Wow, a busy day! Your run around London sounded fun. Last night I watched this show on the National Geographic channel about how terribly slow the court system is in India and how mothers awaiting trial bring their young children into the prison with them to live. It was an interesting show.

Good luck in India! I think Kim may have told you I was there in August for 3 weeks in Bangalore. What city are you visiting? I hope you get a chance to get off the treadmill and run outside (if it's safe to do so of course).

Tom - I am in Delhi. They will not let me run outside so I am stuck to the treadmill. It is about 110 degrees here right now and they never really cool off at night. We are not doing a lot of site seeing this trip except for this weekend they are taking us to a tiger reserve. It will be interesting.

Glad you made it safe and sound.

It was fun watching the girls play ball on Saturday. They both did really good.

Did you like London? I thought your run sounded great!

Good luck surving the daily treadmill regiment. Where I stayed they didn't cool the gym so it was almost deathly hot and humid. But perhaps it teaches us mental toughness, right?

Hope your stay is as pleasant as possible. Maybe take a ride in a rickshaw if you need any extra excitement! Holy cow have you ever seen anything like the spectacle of driving in India (which includes seeing "Holy cows")?

From Brent on Mon, May 12, 2008 at 20:56:09

Holy Cow, without Harry Carry, what an adventure, new running clothes, treadmill thrill, tiger country, have run in that hot sun.

Yeah you made it. I hope you are having fun. I am falling on my face in the running catagory but other than that we all just miss you. Have fun. Enjoy the HEAT!!

Sounds like quite the adventure! Hope you keep us all informed of the details. Post some pics if you get time! What kind of work are you doing over there? Do the doc's that you work with go and do procedures over there?
