I was a little unsure how my knee would feel today.  I scraped last night and it was feeling better but was not quite sure how it would respond to running.  It ended up being a little twingy but felt better as the run progressed.  We stayed on flat ground today and once we got going it ended up being a pretty good run.  I had two "fast" miles and was feeling really good.  With about .25 left to go of the second mile I had an encounter with a big dog.  I had forgotten my pepper spray and so I stood there and walked slowly until his owner came and got him.  Finished up the mile and then took it easy home.

I have got to stop napping on Sundays.  I look forward to it all week long but then I cannot sleep on Sunday nights.  It took me forever last night to fall asleep and then I still wake up all night long.

Dogs are scary! Glad it didnt get ya, I carry my pepper spray for the dogs more than the scary people. I set my alarm clock early on sun morning to see if that would help me sleep better if I didnt sleep in but no luck I was up every hour last night. I think I am so worried about missing the first day of the week, I am anxious about it and therefore dont sleep either!

I'm glad the run turned out good and you were able to avoid a dog encounter! I hate when dogs are off of their leashes! How long do you nap on Sunday? Tom and I have been thinking we need to keep it under an hour to help us sleep good Sunday night. Sometimes it's too easy to go for 2 on a Sunday afternoon, but it always backfires!

Oh, man!! Trade me---I really need a nap!

You ran that fast with pain, way to go!

Jody, sweet dreams, who let the dogs out? Rough rough, Pepper spray and salt is a must, never know when you may run into meal that needs some spicing up. JK

Never trust a dog when your running.
