I ran with the BBK group today.  As always a great group of people to run with and a lot of fun!  We had a nice quick pace today which makes it even better.

I have Stake Leadership tonight and will be so glad when it is over........Luckily I just get to talk about the new nursery manuel, nothing to hard but I would much rather talk to kids than adults.  I will be so happy when it is over!

Thanks for saying it was fast, that makes me feel better! I was dying there for a little bit (tying my shoes was just an excuse to take a breather)!

I will be happy for you when your stake leadership is over! I hate that stuff, too. Good luck.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one ready for a break. I was so happy when we had to slow down on the dirt road at the end for a minute - I felt much better.

I missed you guys this morning but my bed was just a lot more comfy so it won. Plus, I didn't sleep too well so in the end I chose to sleep in. But then I went to teach my class so I still worked out.

You know Jody, I was surprised at how much energy I had in the marathon after taking a break for the potty. I kept thinking I need more of these! lol

Jody, I just noticed that you ran SG in 2:38! You beat Walter!

From Michelle N. on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 14:47:49

She totally rocked. And to think she had just run Hobble Creek in 1:40. Man you really improved FAST:)

You should totally leave that there and let people think you ran it that fast and let them wonder why you weren't in the Olympics.

From Jody on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 15:45:40

I am super fast - didn't ya know!!! That is a big typO but in my dreams I did beat Walter!!!

From Jody on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 18:42:05

From walter on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 19:41:35

Do you want me to put my time to 3:40? Ill do it for you Jody!

From Jody on Fri, Oct 24, 2008 at 15:23:00

Yes, that would make me feel better! Seriously, I never noticed that - I am bad with typo's just ask my employer

After Moab half, I wrote my time on the window of my sis in laws minivan and people were passing her around Moab snuffing her! It was funny she kept telling me people would pull along side, look and her and do the yeah right, whatever. She didnt know I wrote my time on her back window. It made me laugh! You make me laugh Jody!

At least I am good for something today... The last two have been rough!

From walter on Fri, Oct 24, 2008 at 15:48:50

You seemed a bit down on thursday. Is everything alright?

From Jody on Fri, Oct 24, 2008 at 15:52:27

Crappy work week and Stake leadership sends me over the edge twice a year - I HATE IT!! It is now over and I am doing much better, mostly.

From walter on Sat, Oct 25, 2008 at 12:17:59

Well thats good to hear. If it werent for running, you probably would be over the edge by now huh!? I have a surgery next thursday and wont be able to run for at least 2 weeks if everything goes well. Its going to be wierd not running. Even with being lax the last couple of weeks. Cheer up and get some miles in for me wont you?
