I met Julie, Angela, Michelle N and Cheris at 5:45  this morning, this means getting up at 4:50 - the days of sleeping in are looooong gone.  We ran on the JRP south into the wind - add a some rain and you would have the SGM all over again.  It is alway so much fun to run with these guys.  Julie finished at just over 7 miles and then Angela, Michelle and Cheris turned around just before 8.  I added on until I reached 11 miles.  Once I was on my own, I just enjoyed the run.... Sometimes I get so caught up in miles and pace that I forget how much I just love to run.  Saw three deer and a beautiful sunrise.

It was fun to run with you this morning. Hope you come with us all the time on Saturdays. Way to get those extra miles on. My legs were too tired, otherwise I would've gone the rest of the way with you. See ya next week.

Did I cross paths with you this morning? It was still dark but I saw a group of you.

Wow! An ice bath after a run in the cold rain like that. You are so hardcore, Jody. Way to go!

Great run today. Are you doing Boston in April?

From Kelli on Sat, Oct 18, 2008 at 22:08:41

WOW!!! Awesome pace for your long run. Glad you just enjoyed the run, those are good days! However, you could not pay me enough to get up that early on a Saturday!!!

From Jody on Sat, Oct 18, 2008 at 22:35:08

Britta,

Yes, I am planning on Boston. Are you?

From britta on Sat, Oct 18, 2008 at 22:59:56

I wish, I missed my time by 4:08. So I will have to plan on Boston for next year. As long as I am not pregnant.

I am not done having children so it is kind of hard to plan too far ahead.

Great job on your run. I feel like a slacker now sleeping in until 7:30 and only going 9. LOL...

From Jody on Sat, Oct 18, 2008 at 23:23:22

Britta, I did not realize you missed your time, you are so young! It is hard with a young family to plans that far in advance. You really need to come to group on Tuesday, I will send you the workout.

From britta on Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 11:52:39

Please do send me the schedule. I am planning on coming with Kelli this week.

From Jody on Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 11:54:22

Britta,

It usually comes on Monday afternoons. I will forward it over as soon as I get it.
