Holy Wind!!!  Avoided the wind and went to the Oval this morning.  Several others had the same thought, because it was crowded.  Saw Andee and her neighbors.  My Nike + ipod is dead and I need to get a new foot pod, so I wore my watch and counted laps.  It was a nice relaxing run and a good way to start the week.  Enough of the indoors, back outside tomorrow!

Happy Running!

It was fun to see you and Paula this morning. Did you leave before us? I felt great today, I'll call you later. Oh, the boys made it through the night in their big-boy-beds and no one fell out - yahoo!!!

Great job today!! way to start that Monday! I like how you crossed out that old PR and put the new one for the 5k. I think I may steal that idea for my blog (if I can figure out how to do it!)

Thanks Jody. You had a pretty nice run there yourself! I just hope this pesky injury heals so I can just enjoy running and getting out there on the roads.

Yikes that wind sounds bad, thats good you have an option of the track. Have a great week!

Jody, it sounds like you recovered fine from the 5K. Did you do pickups today, striders, mix it up a little, chase kids around the oval? I cannot run in circle unless I make it some kind of game.

Stay cool, B of BS Rools out

It must be nice having a place to go when the weather is bad. You should think about getting a Garmin Forerunner 305. I have one and it is great.

Running isn't a form of exercise but a way of life. :-)

Brent - I always play the pass the next person. Some times it takes me a while. I also try to lap people as much as can. Some are no fun, just walkers but others make me work for it. The guy who kicked my but last week left just as I was getting warmed up - I was ready to run hard with him and he was done.

Great run, and great job in the 5K! I'll have to go read your race report!

Great job! How fun to say you run on the track that Olympians ran on! :o) Way to start the week out strong after a great race on Saturday!!!

From Michelle on Mon, Jan 28, 2008 at 23:39:18

The oval sounds so fun for a change. A little competitions to run against even if the other person doesn't knkow it! I bet that helps with the racing scene down the road!
