Jody, I had injuries after my previous two marathons. Last time I kept trying to work through it but it was bad. I'd just listen to your body and if it is telling you to take a couple of days off then do it. If you don't let it heal, you aren't doing yourself any good and you'll end up having to take more time off. Good luck and I'm sorry you're having issues.
BTW, you are more than welcome to hang with us in Boston. Like Julie said, hubbies at games all day so it'll just be us quite a bit.
Well, I am a little late, but can I just say it was so nice to actually meet you at the blogging party! You are AMAZING! I just read your race report, and I am absolutely impressed by your FABULOUS first marathon experience. What a great inspiration you are!
And good luck with your calf. If I lived up there, I'd make an appointment with Josse. She is a miracle-worker.
