AM - 10.2 miles in hillbilly Las Vegas (Gaitlinburg). Ran up the Cherokee-Orchard road, which is is a grinding climb. Saw a bear. Then we went to Flapjacks.

Dude, Gatlinburg rocks. Although Pigeon Forge is better- I mean, the place must have 1 go-cart track per person.
I can't believe I've lived in the east for 2 years and still never seen a bear here, and you did on a vacation. Where did you see it?
