AM - 19 miles. Long Run w/ 10 mile AT Progression in 54:18 (5:26/mi avg) - Splits: 5:38, 5:37, 5:32, 5:29, 5:27, 5:26, 5:20, 5:18, 5:10, 5:12.

Met Fritz, Nate, and James at the Legacy Trail for this run. The plan was 8 miles easy, then 10 miles dropping from 5:40 to 5:10 and don't go faster than 5:10 under any circumstance (per Coach Andrea's instructions). One more mile to cool down. So this was pretty much right what I wanted. Fritz got out a little ahead of me during the first half of the tempo and gave me a target to chase down over the last few miles. We ended up finishing together. Nice effort by everyone once again this morning.

Nice run Jake. The quality and quantity of miles during this build has been super impressive. CIM should be fun.

I want to think SaltaiF is in on the joke now, but I know that can't really be the case.

I'm trying to decide whether to use my 2014 free entry for the sultare duathalon or the sultare duathlon 3 weeks later. So many options!

Another great workout Jake. It's been really fun to watch your build for CIM. I'm excited for you.

Its been a really FUN block of training from TOU until now. I've really enjoyed the sensibly spread out (yet bigger) workouts. I like the challenge of the longer tempos and long repeats, and just letting the training accumulate instead of trying to knock any single day out of the park.

Hopefully I can validate some of the changes I've made with a solid race in two weeks. And then I'm really going to shake up the blog by taking a week off :-)
