AM - 8 miles up to work. I know, I know... pretty exciting stuff!
PM - 4.3 miles down to SHP + 8 x 100m strides on the track. So, slightly different than yesterday.

That is soooo exciting! What is even more exciting is it's Friday! And Sunday I am headed to Orange County California for a week! Yahooooooo! No cold weather and equestrian trail running for me :) Oh but anyways, back to your excitement. ha :)

Hey now that sounds pretty good! Only 2 days of work for me next week, so I can't complain... although I think I'd rather be heading to the OC than Connecticut :-)

I can't believe you dropped out of Big Sur this weekend at the same time that they instituted drug testing!!

Thank you, Andrea. As if I wasn't going to be mad about not running on Sunday as it was :-)
I have a ton of respect for this race. One, their RDs were super nice to me - even offering to pick me up from the airport at midnight... just going abover and beyond whenever possible. And two, rather than keep getting hosed by the dopers (Ezykas Sisay, Christian Hesch) they've put a great drug testing program in place.
I'm pretty sad I'm not going to be able to race and perform well there, because this is a race that is doing things the right way.

It's okay, I dropped out too! Maybe next year.
