AM - 14 miles. Emigration Canyon. Ran up steady, then 5 miles down faster in 25:33 (5:16, 5:13, 5:10, 5:07, 4:48). The goal today was simply to work on form... running "soft" on my toes and turning my legs over quick w/out expending too much energy. The first 4 miles were easy at that pace, so I picked it up a bit to finish off the workout. This week I'm just trying to get in some solid mileage, but also trying to have some pop in my legs for the 5K in Tennessee this weekend.

PM - 4.5 miles super easy on the wood chips at Liberty Park.

Will you be back in time to run the 10K on Monday? I think you would have fun! It is a fast course.

No we won't be back until Wednesday. Otherwise I'd definitely run the 10K... its seems like a really competitive race which would be a lot of fun. I'll definitely make it a point to run Des News next year.

Nice miles so far this week. Your training blows my mind. Good luck with your 5K. Hey, Jun and I might do the Devil's Castle couloir tomorrow morning if you want in.

Early to work all week for me b/c I am leaving early on Friday. If that couloir is still in good condition this late, that is amazing. The lines on Mt Baldy (as of last weekend) were all still very skiiable... so I'm actually not going to be surprised if the castle is still good to go. I'll be interested to hear how it goes!

Jun had to bail because of a work issue, so we might try it next week if it's still in.
