AM - Took the morning off, as I still need a few more zeros (or zeroes? how do you spell it?) this week to hit Andrea's my quota.

Assuming a short jog this afternoon, and nothing crazy the rest of the week (not hard b/c we'll be skiing w/ Andrea's family), these two weeks after Phoenix will be far less running than I've ever done in post-marathon periods in the past. I added these up yesterday, and threw in that silly 50K as well...

PM - 5 miles. Easy run around the neighborhood just before it got dark.

I believe the correct spelling is zer0s but I will defer to Bam. I'm impressed by your recovery approach and think it'll serve you very well.

Good work on keeping the low mileage.

Now, on the more important issue of zero...

If one is talking about zero as a noun, in the plural, then it's zeros. If one is talking about zero as a verb - he likes to zero in on the chicks - then it's zeroes. Eg. Acorn zeroes in on Bam's ego:)

Now I feel like I learned something today!

I'm planning to keep this week light, easy running and skiing, then next week start adding in 100-150m strides (now that the tracks are finally clear of snow). Three weeks of pretty low volume / intensity... in the short term, I'll feel less "in shape" in the beginning of April (but who cares?), in the longer term, I should be firing on all cylinders the rest of the spring.

zeroi (like cacti).

That 50k was not silly. :)

You can't take any race with a 'k' in it seriously.

Bam Zeds in on chicks.

K races are good. The silly part is that I ran for 3.5 hours to win a buffalo statue!

Yet the Moose is your greatest triumph.

The moose required less running and came with a friend (cash)

:). I knew the money would come up. Runners are so greedy, always after the huge payoffs.

I agree with April- silly 50k?

From Jake K on Wed, Mar 13, 2013 at 21:21:03 from 98.202.146.178

I'm sticking with silly as my description!
