AM - 8.6 miles up to work. Earlier than normal start this morning... bumped into Rob near Sugarhouse and ran with him for about a half-mile. Wore shorts again... I know eventually we're going to get smacked pretty hard by old man winter, so we gotta enjoy this while we can!

PM - 13 miles home... took a longer route. Nice run, legs felt great.

I am so enjoying this weather! I kind of hope we don't get hit by snowy tundra's this winter. I would like water in the Mountains, but in the Valley's meeeh.

You're up early today. Nice!

I'm with you... obviously I'd like to be skiing a bit more, but I'm also happy w/ the valleys staying dry.

Really cold here in CT Jake. Nice workout. When I go to see how you are doing, I usually track Acorn down and then access your name by reading the comments. I guess the other option would be to simply go to the mileage board - you had 5806.10 miles for 2011! Highest mileage of all the bloggers. I imagine you are always on page one of the Mileage board. SERIOUS miles! Hoping you do well with your running in 2012 and make the PRs you are seeking.

PRE - thanks! I didn't realize that you lived in Hamden... my sister went to Quinnipiac for a year before transferring - that's a nice area. We are usually out your way for thanksgiving... between Shelton and Monroe. Next year I'll probably run Manchester if it works out (ie. not having run a marathon 4 days before).

Jake - you running the Manchester Road Race would be totally awesome!!! Let me know if you do decide to do that. Next time your in CT, maybe we can connect...I really couldn't run with you because you would probably be walking and I would be winded...your super Easy pace is probably around what: 7:00/mile pace? My best 5K time is 7:43/mile pace. But I think it would be great to actually meet someone from this site (many people from Utah). I heard about your recent marathon from your fiancee on her blog site(I think she is your fiancee) and that you considered running Manchester after that race!

PRE - If I do run Manchester next year, I will definitely get in touch w/ any CTers on that blog (now that I know there are a few). You'd be surprised, I run a fair share of my easy miles at 8:00 or slower pace. Easy days EASY, hard days HARD :-)
