AM - 11.5 miles up to work.

PM - 6 miles. Down to the track, 6 x 200m in ~33 seconds + 4 x 100m strides. Slowly but surely, the legs are coming back. Stride is still a little choppy when running faster. The sunset was pretty spectacular.

Red-eye flight to JFK tonight.

Nice miles this week Jake. I bet that red-eye is going to completely ruin your shot at beating your Dad at the turkey trot. :)

Luckily I'm not running this turkey "trot" --> http://goo.gl/UI5Fr

Have a safe flight and a good time.

Have a restful flight and then kill it at the turkey trot!

$20 says my average pace for this 5K will be slower than my next half-marathon :-)

200s? Here he comes!. This hamstring thing might turn out to be the best thing that happened to you. You'll be ramping it up from here now. Good luck in the 5k!

Enjoy the Turkey Trot! They are always a good excuse to eat a little more on Thanksgiving.

If you're chopping at high speed, break out the knife hands!
