Went to Ky to visit family over the weekend and didn't run. I had planned on getting out while I was down there but just got tied up and never made it out. Running for the month of July was bad and I need to get back on track. Now that the vacation and travel have settled down I should be able to get back into a better routine.
I had early morning meetings so ran at lunch today so it was warm (78) and windy. I felt pretty good starting out but ran the last 4 miles into the wind so the combination of wind and warm weather slowed me down a little. The main goal this week is just to get in a run every day and try to get back to normal mileage. Anything above that is a bonus.

PM: Ran 1.5 miles with my daughter at the track. After we took turns running the 100. It has been a long time since I tried that. I ended up a little over 15 seconds so not quite as fast as the last time I tried it which was probably high school. |
