It was cool (40) with some light wind this morning.  I did my long run today because I have a lot going on tomorrow and wanted to make sure I got it in.  I felt kind of flat getting started this morning so just ran easy at first.  After around 5 miles or so I started to get into and felt better.  At 10 miles I was feeling pretty good so decided to pick it up a little as I went along.  I just kept picking up the pace a little bit each mile then on the last 4 miles I up the pace to around MP.  I felt pretty good the last 4 miles running at MP.  This was a good sign if I can run faster at the end of these long runs.  I ended up going the first 10 miles at 7:55 pace and ran the last 10 miles at 7:24 pace. Very happy with this run.

Great run! It was nice meeting you today and thanks again for the hospitality for showing me the course and taking me home. I hope the date night with your wife was great (please tell her thanks and that I am sorry if I made you late...that dang traffic was horrible!).

Thanks again!

I take it you aren't doing the race there this weekend?

Great run Jim! It's always an accomplishment to get those 20 milers done and even more so when it is on a weekday.

Thanks Dave and Mark! Feel like things are starting to come together.

Jeff, it was really good to meet you and send some time with you while you were in town.

Jon, I decided not to run this marathon because I did that relay last weekend and I wasn't sure how I would feel afterward. Just got to be a spectator for Jeff.
