tragic day, my race is not relevant in scheme of things. I heard the explosions taking a shower at my hotel, 1block from finish line

Take 2: Back in ATL, still processing the events of the last two days, with command central & Boylston right outside my corner room ... 24 floors below. I will upload my Garmin splits later ... but the short story is exactly what I expected I would run ... comfortably @ a 3:15 pace for 17 or 18 miles & then control the fade.
Anyway, slowing down a minute per mile seemed like the appropriate thing to do. The only goal I had that mattered was to requalify, which I did with 3 minutes to spare. I enjoyed the last 9 miles just ran them a little slower. I will be back Boston ... and we are going to have a party. Take 3: Just reminiscing about being a runner! lol http://connect.garmin.com/activity/299618612
