I think I will follow the 2:58 pace plan for the first 4 miles, then just hang on for dear life the next 22.2! :)

Make sure you hang on tight...!
Even though I'm not running Boston I went to the website for a look....that's pretty cool. I tried to do the same for my upcoming OKC marathon since I somewhat know the course.

Hang on & start praying is more accurate! There is a downhill start, so there is no way I will start out as conservative as I should ... not too mention I will be surrounded by people running fast! The good thing is I have no finish time expectations, so no matter what happens, I plan on enjoying it! I don't think I would enjoy going slow from the get go ... so I will start out with a goal of 3:05, and adjust as many times as necessary! :)
I read that one of the biggest factors at OKC can be wind ... so give some thought to what pace adjustments you might want to make based on what the wind is doing. I know I am hoping for cool weather & a 20 mph tailwind! :)

I'm looking forward to you "enjoying" the race...sounds kinda weird doesn't it!
OKC was very windy (30 mph wind), rain and hail last year and temperature in the 40's...It was miserable. I may drop out if the weather isn't good this year!
