Personal:

My mother forced me to start running as a freshman in high school.. and as much as I hate to admit it, I actually ended up liking it. Graduated from Pine View High School in 2013 and, after a yearlong hiatus, I am now running again, this time for USU, where I'm working on a composite Elementary Ed/Deaf Ed major.

AM: 4. today michael and i wore the same shirt for third time this week! we took this run easy but i still felt sore. cleaned up camp after. even helped the boys because they are so slow. now camp is over and i'm sad but i'm glad for all the memories i was able to obtain through the years. since i was captain up here i got to give a few speeches and stuff and that was fun. plus i got to know the team better after missing so much. i love cross country! (and michael)

(Kay, this is actually me speaking again.) All in all, camp was an amazing experience for me. Being a captain up there and planning all the activities and getting to know everyone on the team was such a blast. I absolutely love our team, and I know we're gonna do some awesome things this season. I'm sad it was my last year of camp, for sure, but I'm super excited to see everyone grow and improve as individual runners and as team members. Love XC and our team!

The spelling errors are quite incriminating.

JP, the real one, it was great running w/ you again. The season is going to be awesome. You guys, the captains, did a great job. The best XC camp to date. Congratulations and thanks.

JP, you're such a good little captain, commenting on everyone's blogs! It's fun having you with us, I'm sorry we're going to be missing each other. right as you get to run with the team, I'll have to run alone. And I agree with Red Leader.

You're the best, JP! I love running with you!
