Personal:

My mother forced me to start running as a freshman in high school.. and as much as I hate to admit it, I actually ended up liking it. Graduated from Pine View High School in 2013 and, after a yearlong hiatus, I am now running again, this time for USU, where I'm working on a composite Elementary Ed/Deaf Ed major.

Ran with Mia.. except she took a billion years to get to my house and I'd fallen asleep on the floor by the time she showed up. And it was quite dark outside. But I'm sure you've all heard the creepy stalker jogger man story, so I'm not going to go over that, cause everyone just asks me why we talked to him and I have to explain all over again that it wasn't our fault, and what were we supposed to do?! Anywho, I talked to my boss about maybe starting work at 5, mowing a side of greens, and then coming to practice at 7:30, which is about when we start running anyway. I think either the entire world hates me, or it's just not meant to be that I make it to practice, cause he said that they have water running that early and it probably wouldn't work out except maybe once or twice a week. Which, I mean, is great, I'll take what I can get. But I'd really like to get out there everyday. And making it to kids camp would be wonderful as well. But I swear, my mom and I have discussed every single possibility and none of them work out. But dearest Mia said she would run with me twice a week in the evening, if that's all right with Coach, because it is ten times easier to get out running when there's someone who will run with me (my mom doesn't count, cause she can't keep up, and usually doesn't want to run anyway).

We miss you at practice. You do need to find a way to get out. There is good and bad to running solo; the bad is usually motivation. You'll have to get out and run to discover the good.

JP, please tell me you are getting your runs in. Mia and Stoner are going to run with you a couple times a week (and I moved your longer runs to Saturday so you guys can do them together), but you really need to be putting in some mileage right now.

I am.. Most of the days. But I tend to be rather lazy, and would rather get on the iPad than have to walk all the way downstairs to use the actual computer.. But I can't update the blog on the iPad. All I can do is comment. I really am trying to get my runs in though. It's hard to get out, especially after the stalker incident, cause my parents want me running with someone who can stay up with me (meaning, not my mom.) so this will be good with stoner and Mia. And the Saturday long runs will be really good too.. Thanks.

Good to hear.

By the way, you can post on your iPad. Just go to the settings, then on safari turn off the java script. You just need to remember to turn it back on before you make any comments to anyone else or they won't work.
