Wow. I'm still really sore. I ran at an 8:30 pace because my legs felt so awkward. I'm not sure what I'll be ready for tomorrow. I'm not sure if I should push through this or not.
I ran by a house today and the backyard was on fire. There was already a man knocking on the door of the house to inform the residents. An old lady in a robe answered the door looking pretty confused. The fire trucks were there by the time I passed again and the backyard burning was out. There's something I haven't seen on a run before.

You've had some great long runs! It sounds like you have a crazy life right now and somehow you are able to squeeze in some real quality workouts. What is in KY?

My husband is in the military so when he gets back from Iraq we're slated to be at Fort Campbell, KY. We found a house that is 2 minutes from his work and couldn't pass up buying it even though we still have a few months until he is home. We are really, really, really looking forward to family time so we were willing to do whatever we had to keep his commute short.
Congrats on the fantastic half-marathon time. And a week after the Boston marathon??? Holy cow!!! That is truly amazing to me.
