At 7am, I ran with Fritz, Nate and a new guy Andrew from Memory Grove up to the U down Sunnyside and back. Nice and cool and the guys weren't spry so that was good. Biggest mileage week this year.
Lunch run at around 12:15. Low 70s with light intermittent rain. I ran down through the U to check things out. There is always something I've never seen before with all the construction and the new law school looks great. I felt good today but still kept it to a slow pace to manage the higher mileage. 1:07:43 total time.
Early lunch run at 11 when the temperature was still low to mid 70s. I drove down to sunnyside and did an emigration out and back. 8:25 pace out and then two miles down at 6:02 and 6:00 (130 ft per mile) then finished out in about an hour. The faster miles caused my heart rate to accelerate a bit but they didn't feel that hard. Nice to bust some rust.
At 12:15 when the temp was low 80s, I did a BST out and back including Red Butte road. Felt pretty good with the (relatively) higher mileage the last two weeks but I did a shorter run in anticipation of bigger weekend runs.
