Eric and I headed over to the Mtn for a run with a lot of other Mist runners. We helped mark the course from the tailhead to aid station 1 then ran warpath, powerline, K2, goat trail, and stone cuts then headed back to the car. Eric Charette ran with us, and blew us away on the K2 climb and the 1/2 mile climb out of stone cuts. He will do well in next Saturdays race. Eric and I both concluded that most of K2 will be walked.

I did run all of K2 in Mountain Mist and honestly that is where I created my separation between Dave Purinton and myself. After that I never looked back! I'm glad I had been hammering the hill climbs in training; it paid off.
