A cold weather run. Ran at 10pm, 41 deg, clear and calm. Ran easy for first 3 to get warmed up, then ran 3 at MP. MP felt really easy and I contemplated on going longer but knew I needed the sleep. 41:46/6:58
The weather sure was something to get readjusted too. it was hard for me not to overcompensate and wear too much.
I flash back to rocket city marathon 2006 when we ran behind Benji Durden. It was low 30's that day and he was old school with his trash bag and 1980's vintage tube socks on his arms. I felt bad for him when he fell around mile 19 but it was still cool to beat an olympian.
I have a feeling that both you and I are going to really scorch up the RC marathon course this year.
