Sub 2:19:00 marathon Personal: I used to run competitively, and maybe I will do so again someday. Right now I am primarily running to try and get in better shape, and to maintain both physical and emotional health, but also for the simple joy that comes when I run.
I am also the proud daddy of five little ones. I love the opportunity that I have to be a daddy, and my challenge is to balance my family responsibilities with work and running. |

| This morning I felt like I had been hit by a truck. The exercises I did yesterday to align my hips left me really sore this morning, my plantar fascia was hurting a little more than it has the previous few days, and my calves and shins felt really painful as I have been running almost exclusively on my forefoot to minimize pain with the plantar fascia. I only ran 5 miles in the evening because of it all. |

| I ran with Sasha and Steve this morning. We kept the pace easy for the most part, but we did run 1 mile in 5:24 to test Sasha's sense of pace, and consistency while running blind. The sense of pace was off, but the splits were fairly consistent. Total of 15.3 miles in 1:51:XX. |
