Personal:

I used to run competitively, and maybe I will do so again someday.  Right now I am primarily running to try and get in better shape, and to maintain both physical and emotional health, but also for the simple joy that comes when I run.

I am also the proud daddy of five little ones.  I love the opportunity that I have to be a daddy, and my challenge is to balance my family responsibilities with work and running.

I woke up not feeling so well, so I decided to get a little extra sleep and skip the morning run.  I was feeling better later on, and I would have run reduced mileage later in the day (I was thinking about running 4 miles) but I didn't have time until after 9 pm, so I ended up just skipping the run completely.

Total time of 53:12 for approximately 7 miles.

I ran out towards Lone Peak High School this morning.  I found a nice trail to run on there, but unfortunately I was almost at my turn around point by the time I made it to the trail so I only ran on the trail for about a mile (0.5 mile out and back).
