Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

5 miles in cold weather and very slow this morning.  I had no energy and the only reason I got out of bed was because my wife literally pushed me out!  Ugh, just tired this morning.  (Ride Black)

Have I mentioned how crappy our neighbors are being?  There is jus no accountability on their part for their actions and for being just mean spirited to our kids.  Their son is just a whiny, mean, un-parented s#$&!  Their house is up for sale...anybody want to move to IF?

Today is one of those days which reminds me of why I live here....it is gorgeous out!!!  I wish I had more time at lunch to stay out for a long run, but alas...6 miles in 41:37, 4 miles of which were with Pat.  We had a great talk about the end of the x-country season here and the upcoming state race at Soda Springs.   (Ride Red)

Hope it is a quick sale! Hate to tell you this but homes aren't selling super fast. Hope they aren't looking to move to Ammon!

Yeah, I know. It doesn't help that they have it listed way overpriced!

Sorry about the neighbor issues. Such is life in America, Both parents working and sometimes two jobs at that just to get by. The kids are the ones that really suffer after all is said and done. You know I would move to Idaho Falls if it meant getting a decent job. Heck, I'd move anywhere!

I have a neighbor that i could do without too.

It amazes me how bad a neighbor can be. Our new neighbors are good, but the reason they are our new neighbors is because there was a physical confrontation between two of the adults in their old neighborhood over kids playing in the yard...

On a better note two cheers to your wife for being so supportive and helping give you that extra kick this morning.

I blame all this bad behavior by parents in our country on Jerry Springer.

Sorry about the bad neighbors. We didn't like our neighbors much at our Logan house, but so far like everyone fine at our Smithfield house...for now. It's pretty much luck of the draw.

Makes me think of "The Simpsons" episode where George H.W. Bush moves across the street from Homer and Marge.

My parents had some awful people move in next door. They were on them about petty stuff. The husband is horrible. Even with living in the country there isn't enough space. We nicknamed him Rambo. Best solution has been to ignore them.

From Kory on Thu, Oct 14, 2010 at 22:44:05 from 24.116.159.75

My daughter is running is running in Soda Springs and is going to tear it up. I think she will do good.

Sorry about the unforgiving neighbors.
