Easy 5 with Maja across the U campus, past the new track (yippee!), over the Olympic bridge, and through Fort Douglas. Calves were sore from the VFF workout yesterday, but not too bad. Note: I haven't been tracking mileage on my Kayanos for months, but they are probably both up in the 400-mile range. They still feel good, though, so I'll hold off on replacing them for now. I think my VFF and Nike Free running earlier in the year may have helped modify my form to the point that I strike more in the mid-foot region now, and that could be one reason why the Kayanos aren't showing the same kind of wear I'm used to after 300 miles or so.
