"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

No run today. Run tomorrow.

I just realized that every day is "Casual Friday" for me. In fact, as far as apparel goes, I basically dress the same today as I did in high school. Talk about arrested development!

I wear jeans and somewhat-upscale t-shirt (meaning no logo, and women's fit). I managed to be sick and work from whom the whole week that they required business casual in the office recently because some mucky-muck was visiting.

Did you ever watch Arrested Development? I saw it a few times but wasn't really into it.

I've had a couple of jobs over the years where I was required to wear slacks, shirt and tie. I almost think my career path in life has been directed by a desire to never have to wear dress clothes again.

I loved arrested development. I never understood why it didn't do better ratings wise and such. I guess it's sort of considered a "cult classic".

You running long tomorrow?

I am looking for a job right now, and that's what scares me the most! Having to give up the life of running/yoga/biking clothes for something more "professional". Not sure I can make the leap. Maybe I could be a barista..

I think I may actually have a few shirts that I wore in h.s. that I know lounge around in. tee hee... and ties are overrated lol

Auntie - Maybe you should work in a running store so you can be comfie!

JD - Thanks for the un-run blog - fun topic!
