"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

Noon on the Bluff trail (previously refered to as the syracuse trail), SUN, 65F, wind SE at 4-10. Beautiful weather brought everybody out, it was nice to have a little company on the trail.

Easy pace (like I ever run anything else). Picked a good week to cut back as my legs have been feeling a little un-alive the last couple of days. All in all feeling healthy, energetic and strong.

FINALLY, beautiful weather. But, will it stay???

Great job!

Forecast calls for rain over the next few days, but warmer temps. I'll take that over freezing, snowing, windy. I believe Spring is getting the upper hand finally.

At least the rain for tomorrow says PM! We can still have a good run in the morning! I prefer 50 and no wind or rain or sleet or snow or dogs or a lot of other things!

From JD on Tue, Apr 07, 2009 at 17:01:33 from 64.65.159.206

Other things? Like: no traffic, no fatigue, no deisel fumes, no potty breaks, no lactic acid build up? Stuff like that?

From Kelli on Tue, Apr 07, 2009 at 17:02:20 from 71.219.95.20

NO POTTY BREAKS---that would make my day! I would be so fast!!!

I could go for some of those...

You always did have a good sense of humour Lysa.
