Wingood Road - 5 miles with Megan, no watch. Kept the pace very easy. Did some road strides and some barefoot strides on my parents' lawn (it's like running on a fairway)

Drove to Maine yesterday. Rented a Prius. Great gas mileage but 0 power. I wouldn't buy one. Staying at my uncle's cottage tonight. Pre-race Thai dinner as usual. Might need to give myself a hair cut. It's getting helmet-y.

I'm all for saving the planet, Rob, but this thing is SLOW. I mean, it's ninja quiet but that means it's likely to hit me while I'm running across the street. My car is great on gas. It hasn't run in forever and it's sitting in a lot of a shop in Indiana. They don't seem motivated to get rid of it; I haven't heard anything. Hoping it blows up.

I leased a Honda Insight for 3 years. I loved the 50 mpg back and forth to work but I didn't love the thing enough to get another one when the lease expired. Bought a 2 year old Civic instead.

I drove to my uncle's from the Thai place. 6.2 miles in 14 minutes. I think I'm destined to beat Ben True's course record (29-low I think).
