VInton Woods - 10 miles, no watch. Did some strides.

Getting used to the humidity in the mornings. If the Death Point is low, you barely notice.

My parents are coming to town tomorrow. First time in 5 years. I guess it is much easier when I go there. Poor Oliver, my cat, is in an Elizabethan collar after a skin biopsy and he is running around my messy apartment like a frontend loader bumping into things, while I am trying to get this place cleaned and work. Good times. Dad wants to go to the Golden Corrall, which I thought was garbage even before I started running. I could go for some ice cream though. I think it has been since April since I had a ice cream.

Suffering through those miles in The Death Zone will take you far.

I have to admit I like the Golden Corral. Bring back some chicken for Oliver and put it in his cone.

that reminds me...the last time i was at golden corral, there were four coned cats swimming in the gravy.

I laughed, Oliver did not.

I'm sure I'll grumble over it and eat too much anyway. Then grumble because I can't hold myself back when that much food is in front of me. Not sure how long they are staying but it could get ugly because he will want to go every night . . . and there is a perfectly good Chicago Style Pizza place that I need to go to before I move. I won't go otherwise I am sure (I also can't really have pizza. 14" of pie has been known to disappear).

My in-laws LOVE The Golden Corral.

I'm getting used to being back in the land of humidity. Actually, I'm not. In Utah, when you wash running cloths in the shower after you run and them hang them up, they actually dry!
