Day off. One of my longest, just-returning-from-marathon streaks. Got my mileage up a bit sooner than planned, but that's pretty typical.

Nice steady increase in mileage since the marathon, too. Days off aren't so bad..

40, 65, 75, which is a pretty good jump but I have been running an average of ~65 miles per week for over two years now, so it isn't too bad. Just need to be smart. It is rare for me to take a day off after a hard effort (race, long run, workout) but it was a good time to take one.

That would be a bit drastic for me to get back over 70, but it seems sensible for what you're used to.

Yeah. Helpful to keep in mind I ran 90+ miles per week for 2.5 months this fall and have done 2 marathon buildups averaging around 80 miles with peaks into the 90s.
Go with a similar comeback to what you've done in the past. Right now I feel like running about 85-90 miles, but I am going to let that wait. 70-80ish for now and see if I can/need/want a jump or wait until the last 8 weeks of the marathon specific portion to start hitting 90-95. Right now I need power, leg speed, weight loss, etc. These things take time I suppose.

The all important.. patience. Tough one. Sounds like you're plan is similar to mine. I need to get after the same list.

Since you are a New Englander I will let you get away with that comment :-) No, actually I agree, but people who don't have it or don't have 12 on each block love it.
My sister got a good profile on the pic. My face looked pretty awful at that point (and before). I have evidence.
