AM: Treadmill - 5.5 miles. Another day, another failed workout. The temps were 75, humidity 98%, and the dew point 75, so there was no way I was going outside. The treadmill didn't help. Planned 4-6 by 1 mile starting every 8 minutes (6 minute mile 2 recovery or a bit more recovery if I ran under 6). Pace just felt unsustainable so I did 6:07 for the first mile and 6:15 for the second, then just pulled it a quarter mile into the third. I think part of the problem is the mileage spike last week and the fact that I am down 4-5 pounds the last two days. I am finding it impossible to get my hydration levels up without drinking many consecutive glasses of water and I don't think that's the proper way. Hoping for a decent workout on Thursday or Friday when the weather is cooler.

PM: Treadmill - 5.25 miles

You'll do better if cooler mornings are on the way. I'm attempting my TM workout tomorrow - something similar to this. The only saving grace for me is it's the gym at work and I'll know people...hoping that will force me to hang in there out of sheer pride.

I was getting my butt kicked by the guy next to me too. You must be the fast guy at work.

What kind of crap is 75 DP / 98% humidity?

Never seen anything like it. It was uncomfortable walking around La Salle's campus today. Cooler air cycling through. Might have some humidity in Maine so with my Florida trip and here I should be well prepped. I hope.

Yep...luckily, college students tend to be in better shape than bankers.

Maine sounds good about now!
