Went to the trainer today, they said the knee was probably an IT band issue and would be resolved with rest, a cutback in mileage, and ice. So thats the plan. No 5k this weekend, not sure about 5 mile race next weekend. I have a goal 10k three weeks out (May 16) that I will most likely shoot for. In the mean time, i need to do everything possible to help heal this leg. |
