I went 5 miles today as planned. It was kind of a systems check after saturday's fiasco. I felt pretty good, my legs were kinda sore, but i slowed the pace down to 7:15 min/miles and that seemed to help. Very windy on the way back, right in my face at 30 a steady mph, that made it difficult. Other than that I think saturday gets chalked up as being colder than i expected and that cold caused my legs to cramp. It was 45 degrees, but the windchill was around 32, and yet i still wore shorts then. Should have worn tights or pants apparently and need to pay better attention to the windchill as that seems to have caused cramping in my legs. |
