Nice easy 5 today at 7:09 pace, still felt a little rushed though actually. Mini-taper today and tomorrow before the 10k on sunday. Looking forward to racing again, feeling ready for a longer race, weather looks pretty good, should be around 40 at the start. Ice bath'd tonight cuz the legs were sore.

Good luck in the race this weekend! Not sure if you ran the course before, but hold form in the tough middle, run the down hills hard, and wait until you hit that last mile before rolling the eyes back. You can absolutely fly down the hill at the end. I won't be there this time around.

Thanks for the advice! You pretty much nailed how that course was. I struggled quite a bit in this race, but it worked out as a good tempo run and ended up letting me know that i have a long ways to go training wise. I think I have been training less for speed and more for distance, so hopefully those two halves i have in the next month will go alright. Good luck at boston!
